Five Element & Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture

As treatments are focused on the whole individual rather than solely on their symptoms, a detailed picture is drawn up during the first, in-depth consultation by careful questioning and observation. By exploring aspects such as a person’s medical history, lifestyle and emotional wellbeing, not only the nature and the root cause of imbalance begins to unfold but also aspects that allow this imbalance to persist. A tailored treatment strategy is then created and regularly reviewed, adding modalities such as cupping, gua sha or moxibustion as or when needed. Sessions are enjoyed in a safe, comfortable and calm environment. 

Five Element Facial Enhancement Acupuncture

This treatment is an extension of a Five Element & TCM session. Following an in-depth consultation, the treatment will ensure the balance and health of the individual’s Body, Mind and Spirit are still emphasised and the sessions are tailored to them. This is followed by encouraging microcirculation and smoothing areas of stagnation on the face, by using techniques such as facial massage, gua sha, cupping, facial and ear acupuncture. These sessions will have a long-term effect, allowing the skin to restore its innate radiance while creating a great sense of wellbeing.

Gua Sha Therapy

A Bian stone tool is used to ‘scrape’ the skin to invigorate blood flow, release heat-toxins, stimulate lymphatic drainage, and to reduce inflammation in the body. Through encouraging microcirculation to the skin, collagen and elastin production is increased, improving skin hydration levels. Sessions are enjoyed in a safe, comfortable and calm environment, after which you will feel pampered and renewed.

Deep Qi Bodywork

This bodywork allows to tangibly and reliably move Qi in the body by applying hand techniques to the skin, connective/muscular tissue and skeletal system. Special acupressure points are stimulated manually to unlock channels, thus improve energy, blood and lymph circulation throughout the whole body. The deeply settling yet powerful techniques; rocking and vibrating, relax and reset the whole body, especially helping those suffering from stress and anxiety by gently easing them into a progressively relaxed, lulled state.
